Staff Update – Technical Director
Ringette Saskatchewan wants to introduce and welcome Carrie Livingstone to our organization as our new Technical Director. Carrie will start her new role on June 13th, 2019.
Ringette has been Carrie’s passion for the past 15 years, starting as a player and eventually becoming a coach. She has played at the AA, A, and B levels and had the opportunity to represent Saskatchewan as a player at the Canadian Ringette Championships (2012, 2013) and the Western Canadian Ringette Championships (2010, 2014). In 2013, as her competitive playing career was coming to an end, Carrie was given the opportunity to coach. She has coached at the U14A, U16A, and U19A levels, and was able to again represent Saskatchewan at Westerns in 2016, 2017, and 2018; winning bronze in 2016 and silver in 2017. Carrie has also had the chance to instruct at various local camps, the National Ringette School, and Come Try Ringette events.
Carrie graduated from the University of Regina with a degree in Kinesiology- Human Kinetics in 2018. She is also a certified Personal Trainer and has experience working with the Regina Pats Hockey Club as part of the promotional team that executes all in-game promotions.
Carrie is very excited to continue to share her knowledge and passion for this great sport and help grow ringette in Saskatchewan!
